Well, it’s official, Friday will be Conan O’Brien’s last night hosting “The Tonight Show.” He’ll walk away with something like $30 million, his staff will be given generous severance packages, and he’ll be allowed to be back on the air on a new network after Sept. 1. Unfortunately, until that happens, Conan will be contractually bound not to publicly diss NBC, and all his sketches, including Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, will remain the intellectual property of NBC.

But that doesn’t mean he can’t torment NBC in his final days. Last night, in an effort to poke the network in the eye, Conan rolled out a grotesquely expensive Bugatti Veyron (“Top Gear” fans will know that one) dressed as a mouse, accompanied by the orignal master recording of the Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction.”  Total cost for renting the car and broadcast and Internet rights to the song: A cool $1.5 million.

NBC apparently isn’t too happy, because they pulled the clip today from NBC.com and Hulu. Luckily, the fine folks over at Jalopnik still have a video clip.

Click on this link to check it out. It’s fantastic. Be patient, it comes on about a minute and a half into it.
