Watch it

“Parks and Recreation” (8:30 p.m., NBC). Leslie throws a dinner party in an effort to impress her new boyfriend (Justin Theroux). Mishaps and hilarity ensue.

“The Office” (9 p.m., NBC). A possible buyer for Dunder Mifflin visits and everyone goes overboard trying to impress him. Hope it’s not as depressing as it’d be in real life.

“30 Rock” (9:30 p.m., NBC). “TGS” goes on the road. To Boston, of course, so Jack can tag along and see his long-lost sweetheart (Julianne Moore).

“Burn Notice” (10 p.m., USA). Season premiere. Michael Weston & crew are back for more explosions and witty banter under the Miami sun. Sweeeet. Tonight Michael turns to his mom (Sharon Gless) for help on a case. Tyne Daly guest-stars in a “Cagney & Lacey” reunion of sorts.

“Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” (11:35 p.m., NBC). The death march continues. Tonight Robin Williams and Barry Manilow appear. Typically, that’d make me watch anything else. But it’s Conan’s second-to-last episode, so I’ll make an exception.

Record it

“Fringe” (9 p.m., Fox). Peter and Olivia get trapped in a building that’s been quarantined because of a killer virus. Not exactly original, but it should provide a nice disgusting death or two.

“Archer” (10 p.m., FX). ISIS can’t meet diversity standards because Sterling keeps getting all the minority agents killed. So his spymaster mom hires a black Jew — “a diversity double whammy.”

“Jersey Shore” (10 p.m., MTV). Wow, here’s a conundrum. I can only record two shows at once, and the season finale of “Jersey Shore” is the third awesome thing on at 10:00. I mean, Snooki and Mike hooking up in a hot tub? Now THAT’S a situation! What to do, what to do? Ehhh, MTV will rerun this a million times. I’ll catch it later. There’s an hourlong reunion episode at 11 p.m. too, for those of you who just can’t say goodbye to Snooki, JWoWW, The Situation & Co. Don’t worry, they’ll be back for Season 2 before you know it.

“Project Runway” (10 p.m., Lifetime). So what’s the verdict? Is this season already an improvement over last?

Skip it

“The Deep End” (8 p.m., ABC). Picture “Grey’s Anatomy” meets “Ally McBeal,” only without any of the charm or wit that either show ever had. It looks awful. Too bad, because it co-stars Tina Majorino (Mac from “Veronica Mars”), who I really like. Maybe next time . . . .
