Watch it
“Dollhouse” (9 p.m., Fox). It’ll be your last chance to see it for a while — Fox is yanking the series from its November sweeps schedule. And in a double whammy for fans, the Chicago Tribune’s Maureen Ryan counts the next two episodes among the series’ best ever. Nice timing, eh?
“White Collar” (10 p.m., USA). Series premiere. This new series about a fugitive con man who teams up with an FBI agent is getting critical raves, drawing comparisons to the brilliant “Burn Notice.” In fact, the L.A. Times says it’s the best new drama of the fall season. Good enough for me, I’ll watch.
Record it
“Monty Python: Almost the Truth” (9 p.m., IFC). The conclusion of the six-part documentary looks at “The Meaning of Life,” Graham Chapman’s death, and the Pythons’ legacy.
Skip it
“Supernanny” (8 p.m., ABC). Season premiere. Haven’t we learned yet that any reality TV show involving kids and families is a horrible idea? Save a kid from a future of intensive therapy and don’t watch.

As a kid, Mike Murphy wanted to jump cars and shoot dynamite arrows like on “The Dukes of Hazzard.” Now that he’s a grown-up, he’d be satisfied with running “The Amazing Race.” Click on over for the musings, rants and occasional bits of useful news from a certified TV addict.
